Our Homeroom class spent time presenting to each other special stones on which they wrote, collaged, and/or painted intentions and wishes for each other as we begin a new school year together. Older students worked to lovingly guide youngers into this new learning community we call "5/6". Eager 5th graders opened their eyes and hearts with great courage to this new experience. Each student presented their partner with a note encapsulating their wishes for the coming year on paper. If you have not yet seen your child's stone and note, ask if you can take a look at these very special mementos. Please check out the photo gallery below to see a few more photos of the ceremony!
It is truly an honor to be learning and growing with such an outstanding group of young people. I can tell already that it's going to be a fabulous year filled with growth and new opportunities! - Lynn
